Learn to Love Garlic

Lactobacillus acidophilus and Bifidus are good, friendly bacteria that can check the proliferation of the infection-causing fungus Candida albicans and prevent its spread in your gut. One effective way of increasing the population of friendly bacteria in your colon is by eating live yogurt, which is full of live microorganisms which will keep fungus at bay.
An experiment conducted at the Long Island Jewish Medical Center in New York showed the rate of recurrent vaginal yeast infection was reduced by 75% in women who ate one cup of live yogurt every day for six months.
Increase your Antioxidants Intake
By increasing your intake of the powerful antioxidants, vitamins A, C and E you can reduce the chances of contracting a yeast infection in the first place. If you are suffering with a vaginal yeast infection, upping your intake of these vitamins in conjunction with the other advice given above will speed your recovery.
There are many natural methods of dealing with yeast infection, all of which have their individual merits. But by combining several of these natural treatments you give yourself the maximum probability of affecting a natural cure quickly and without having to resort to dangerous drugs and creams.
